The Walter Rx Eyepiece comes in a professionally packaged box, with a label on the front indicating the prescription. Inside is a custom-fitted foam piece which snugly holds the eyepiece and tiny eyeglass type screwdriver in place. There’s even a little micro fiber cloth provided to toss in the bag or coat pocket for cleaning your eyepiece before mounting on your Leica rangefinder camera eyepiece

Below are pictures of how the Walter Rx Eyepiece

is without the astigmatism diopter correction lens inserted.

Walter Rx Eyepiece is hand made from solid brass with a matt black coating to match the Leica rangefinder cameras.

Mounted on a high quality, German engineered, freely rotating ball bearing, the eyepiece will always fall back to the same horizontal position with ease, no matter what angle you hold the camera. Whether taking a portrait or landscape picture, or any position in between, rest assured, your Walter RX eyepiece ® will always self orientate back to a horizontal position.

The Walter RX Eyepiece is designed to fit over the Leica rangefinder eyepiece so it does not take away any light from the viewfinder keeping the image bright and crisp.

The Walter Rx Eyepiece is not a magnifier. All the magnifiers do is “magnify the astigmatism” We believe that with your prescription lens inserted, magnifiers are no longer required as you now have normal perfect vision.
